Update 23rd September 2020
After the latest rules imposed by Government yesterday, the following changes will be in place by tomorrow (Thursday) at HGSA:
Bar staff will be wearing face masks.
Customers when NOT seated (i.e. going to the toilet, entering the club or standing anywhere) MUST wear face masks. Please do bring your own masks as we have a limited supply.
Last orders will be at 9.30pm and all customers MUST have left the clubhouse and grounds by 10pm.
You will find a QR code on entry to the club and at various places within the club to do your Track & Trace details – this is COMPLUSORY and there are still leaflets available from bar staff should you not use technology.
The club can ONLY be run using table service, so this will mean a staff member will come and take your drink order and then bring it to your table on a tray. This has never been done at the club before and so serving drinks to customers may take longer as bar staff adjust to the new way of working, PLEASE be patient with our bar staff members especially whilst we are trying to stay outdoors as well.
The Music and Paella event can still go ahead this Sunday as long as the above are all adhered to.
On Sunday 27th September we will be hosting the
Last Sunday of Summer at HGSA, with music from Dusty Rides Again between 3-5pm, food available to purchase from Little Urban Chef and a special offer on Pimms too. Bar open from 12noon – 7pm. Look forward to seeing you there.
It is now COMPULSORY for you to complete NHS Track & Trace information at HGSA, if you don’t have a HGSA Club Card. The leaflet you need to complete will be given to you by a member of bar staff when you order at the bar.
HGSA is now open until 11pm (instead of 10pm) on a Tuesday and Thursday evening.
Please Note: We are now open to non HGSA card holders, however you MUST provide your details for NHS Track & Trace purposes at the bar if you don’t have a HGSA club card.
Current opening hours are as follows:
Monday – Closed
Tuesday – 7.30pm – 11pm
Wednesday – Closed
Thursday – 7.30pm – 11pm
Friday – 5pm – 10pm
Saturday – 12noon – 9pm
Sunday – 12noon – 4pm
Due to social distancing measures, we can only accommodate 45 people inside, so entry will be on a first come, first serve basis for inside seating. Everyone inside MUST be seated and there can be no mingling at the bar. If we reach capacity inside the club, please respect the decisions of the bar staff on duty if you are asked to leave as entrance is on a first come, first serve basis.
We do hope to see lots of you joining us for our new opening hours, while we all continue to adapt to what’s currently the new “normal.”
*If you wish to become a HGSA Club Card holder, please contact Laura Ripley, Club Manager on firstname.lastname@example.org
