Update 4th November 2020
With the new Government announcements, it is with sadness that we will have to close HGSA again until the 2nd December 2020. In the meantime though if you would like to nominate Person and/or Team of the Year you can send your nominations to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5pm on 13th November 2020.
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ:
As you all know there is currently a strict 10pm curfew in place for all hospitality establishments, with very heavy fining (up to £10,000) if these rules are breached.
At HGSA we take these rules very seriously, and that is why last orders are being called at 9.30, to give our customers 20 minutes to be finished their drinks and have left the premises fully before 10pm.
We have already heard of a local establishment being fined £10,000 for breaching of the 10pm curfew and so it is of upmost importance that you respect and follow the rules that are in place. Our bar staff should not be feeling pressured to serve any drinks after calling last orders at 9.30pm as they are following the strict rules that are in place for a reason.
Please can we ask that you support our bar staff with these rules. Thank you for your understanding.
Customers when NOT seated (i.e. going to the toilet, entering the club or standing anywhere) MUST wear face masks. Please do bring your own masks as we have a limited supply.
Last orders will be at 9.30pm and all customers MUST have left the clubhouse and grounds by 10pm.
You will find a QR code on entry to the club and at various places within the club to do your Track & Trace details (you will need to download the NHS Covid-19 App to your phone). Track & Trace is COMPLUSORY and so there are still leaflets available from bar staff should you not use technology.
The club can ONLY be run using table service, so this will mean a staff member will come and take your drink order and then bring it to your table on a tray. This has never been done at the club before and so serving drinks to customers may take longer as bar staff adjust to the new way of working, PLEASE be patient with our bar staff members especially whilst we are trying to stay outdoors as well.
It is now COMPULSORY for you to complete NHS Track & Trace information at HGSA, if you don’t have a HGSA Club Card. The leaflet you need to complete will be given to you by a member of bar staff when you order at the bar.

Everyone inside MUST be seated and there can be no mingling at the bar. If we reach capacity inside the club, please respect the decisions of the bar staff on duty if you are asked to leave as entrance is on a first come, first serve basis.
